A Century Of Honor

An interactive historical experience celebrating the centennial anniversary of the Girl Scouts

"A Century of Honor" is a collection of Girl Scout memorabilia, information and media of and about Girl Scouting and its' rich history.

The Display

"A Century of Honor" is meant to celebrate the Centennial Anniversary of the Girl Scouts and bring awareness to the community of how Girl Scouting has evolved over the last century. The display will be viewable at Lefferts Historic House beginning November 3rd 2018.

Girl Scouts and Troops

Scouts and Troops that are currently active in scouting can participate in Special Programs in conjunction with a tour of "A Century of Honor". These programs are available by request. For a list of age-appropriate available programs please see our Special Programs page.

Display Coordinator Carol Obler

Carol Obler is a native Staten Islander and has been active in the Girl Scouts for over 50 years. Her decades of experience in leading Girl Scout troops, training Troop Leaders and educating women of all ages are culminated in this robust display of Girl Scout history. The artifacts found in the display come from a variety of sources that have been curated by Ms. Obler, though many of the items are of her personal collection.
