Girl Scout Troops or Groups planning a visit to the "A Century of Honor" display at Historic Richmond Town may request to schedule additional activities for their trip.

Available programs and workshops

Compass Treasure Hunt
Compass Treasure Hunt is an outdoor activity. Groups will learn to use Compass Directions and compasses to find a 'hidden treasure' on the grounds of Historic Richmond Town.
Appropriate for Junior Girl Scouts and older

Gallery Talks
Display Coordinator and Girl Scout Educator Carol Obler will be available to provide a tour and personal account of the artifacts and media on display at "A Century of Honor". Music and video components will be included.
Appropriate for all ages

Song Workshop
Singing is a traditional Girl Scout activity that has carried through the century. This Song Workshop will teach girls traditional Girl Scout songs with historical significance and physical movement to educate and entertain girls of all ages.

Lemmie Sticks Workshop
Lemmie Sticks is an international game of rhythm and coordination. Participants will decorate their own rhythm sticks and learn to use them to play the game.
